Cartography the Routine Care to the Individual Suffering From Depression

This article intends to describing and analyzing the routine care provided to the individual suffering from depression. This is a cartographic research work, carried out with workers from CAPS (Center of Psychosocial Attention) at S o José dos Campos. It attempted to map the routine care provided to an individual suffering from depression, including his/her case study, document analysis, observant participation and interviews with the users, the mental health care team and all the other individuals who took an active role in his/her care. For data collection, the analytic flowchart of the attention model of a health service was used. The routine care provided by the mental health team from this CAPS was guided by the user’s needs and singularities. The customized therapeutic project was gradually built, adapting itself to the individual’s life history, his/her family context, his/her fortes, his/her difficulties and limitations.
