The Body How Object of Human Construction

Generally our perceptions of the body are related to the emergence of the individualistic mode of subjectivity, as a form of social structure, the emergence of a positive rational thought about nature, especially from the seventeenth century, and, finally, connected the history of medicine, which embodies in western societies an official know about the body. From this context, the objective of this research is to propose a reflection on the body and point out some ways that this body has been designed, the way how individual identity can pass by the way the body figure, how is projected in society, while recognizing the form, and from that point out some consequences of this characterization. This work was produced with searchs in PubMed and Scielo, and in the Library Sector, University of Coimbra. For for writing text defined three sub-items for consideration: 1. The distancing of the subject, the body as raw material 2. The body of the biomedical model: a subjective ousting of 3. Thus the body appears to limit its own space, both in court instrumentalist doctor or the arts. Combinatorial analysis may have elements that are interchangeable and that promote the image of the body. The body that "manufactures" by going to thermodynamics to cyber century.
