An Evaluation on the Epics is Written by mer SeyfettinBases of Research: Especially in Europe, epics have an important role in the construction of the nation. Re-written epics are very important in the process of nation needs heroes of society and to creat a hero and the formation of cultural identity.Purpose of Research: In this paper, connection of epics with the nation process and rewriting process of Turkish epics and mer Seyfettin’s efforts of writing Turkish epic were examined.Resources of Data: Works about Turkish epics and mer Seyfettin.Discussion and Conclusion: Omer Seyfettin such as Ziya G kalp and M. Fuat K prülü was closely followed in European cultural studies and was considered the Turks also, just like Troy, and Odysseus, as Kalevela need is a national epic, so defended should be written a great Turkish epic and made some attempts in this direction.
