Attitudes and ideas of candidate primary school teachers towards copyingBackground of Study: There are some activities in higher education that most people would find it easy to identify as "cheating". For example these might include someone writing notes in their pencil-case to carry into an examination, and someone submitting for assessment as their own work an essay that their brother wrote years before. These are obviously dishonest. There are some factors like parents’ expectation of good grade, not passing their class and entrancing press an university. Purpose of Study: In this study, ninty-hundred candidate primary school teacher’s attitudes and ideas toward copying have been investigated. Sources of Data: In this study, “Copying Attitude Scale’’ Likert Scale of five degree has been used as a measuring means. Cronbach alpha has been used for reability test (Alpha=,7616). The dates after the study have been analyzed by comparisons according to sex, departments of the university and education styles. For analyzing the dates, some statistical techniques have been used; like t-test, variance analysis and arithmetic means. Main Discussion and Conclusions: As a result, it’s found that the candidate teachers have different attitudes towards copying according to their departments, education styles.
