Social and political networks

This article presents an ongoing research project that aims to understand and discuss how, in the light of the new methods of regulation of the State, new actors emerge as partners in the definition of public policies. The aim is to understand, based on the concept of the social and political networks, how the voice of a set of organisations is listened to at the origin of the public policies of Sex Education in Schools. Among these voices, greater attention and an in-depth analysis is made regarding the voice of the parents. Using the concept also of a methodological point of view, a timeline is drawn, along which the organisations/actors that constitute the network are placed, analysing the meaning that each one confers to their own and others’ importance in the origin of this public policy.
