2012: una odisea urbana. La nueva sede de la Confederación de Empresarios de Albacete (FEDA)

The Confederation of Albacete Businessmen’s (FEDA) new head office, 2007-2011, is a building designed by the architects COR & Asociados, created by the Alicante graduates Jesús Olivares and Miguel Rodenas. It is situated in a corner of Albacete (Spain), is 3800 m2, and cost slightly less than 1000 €/m2. The authors were provoked to undertake this in-depth paper in order to manifest its architectural worth, to show the scope of its impact in relation with the indecisive manner in which it is located, and about its ability to urbanise an environment that lacks character.
