Psychometric Evaluation of the Greek version of TOSCA-3 to measure Shame and Guilt.

Shame and guilt are considered as two distinct emotions, which are both “moral” and “self-conscious”, negative in nature and typically experienced within interpersonal contexts. Although important in psychosocial life, the development of valid and reliable methods for their assessment is relatively recent. The present study aimed to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Greek version of TOSCA-3 to measure shame and guilt. Our results suggested that this is a valid and reliable instrument to use in the Greek culture as well.
