This article aims to reflect on the autobiography documentary film, questioning the relevance of the perspective of narrative analysis. Therefore, we analyze the narrative of Tarnation (2003), by Jonathan Caouette, with the aim of understanding how the selfrepresentation is constituted in this autobiographical documentary.
