Lixo Extraordinário: interven es socio-estéticasKeywords: register-documentary , view from abroad , aesthetics of hypervention Abstract: This paper intends to analyze the documentary Waste Land (LixoExtraordinário, 2010), about the work of the artist Vik Muniz, in three aspects: as a register-documentary, as a view from abroad and as socio-aesthetic interventions. The basic theoretical references for this article include the classification about documentaries by Bill Nichols, some views of intertextuality and aesthetics, and the concept of the aesthetics of hypervention.
