ON CONSCIOUSNESS OF CITIZENSHIP: The Survey on the Reviewed Perspective about Consciousness of Citizenship, Knowledge and Non-Govermental Organizations of Freshmen of Ege University, Faculty of Communications

The term of citizenship has come across in different meanings since the Antique Era. Citizenship term, in the transition process from subject to citizen with the social change factors, has been also formed and renewed. Information which is the one of the most important weapons of the present day has a major position to consist of citizenship mind. Although society of nowadays calls “information society”, it’s a fact that information isn’t distributied to everyone equally and fairly. In this regard, info-gap which is lived at society in many cases stand out in social change process of people with the justice and liberty, in the way of conscious of duty and commitment.This study which has prepared by taking the base of points that are emphasized above, is prepared on the base of logic that how nowadays people living in social structure, keep on their existency, and how they are influenced from this social structure and how they effect this structure as a citizen. Paper has been fulfilled with the survey results of inquisitorial point of views of the freshmen of Ege University, Faculty of Communications.
