Reflexo da introdu o da substitui o tributária de ICMS – imposto sobre circula o de mercadorias e servi os – na arrecada o do Estado de S o Paulo = Reflection of the introduction of ICMS tax substitution on revenue at S o Paulo State

O ICMS- Imposto sobre Mercadorias e Servi os é um componente importante nos pre os praticados pelas empresas comerciais e industriais. A sistemática de cobran a deste tributo por substitui o tributária vem ganhando corpo no Estado de S o Paulo, e tem por objetivos aumentar a eficácia da arrecada o e facilitar a fiscaliza o do referido tributo. O estudo apresentado teve por objetivo identificar, com a utiliza o de regress o múltipla, a existência de influência na arrecada o de ICMS de um determinado segmento no Estado de S o Paulo, por decorrência da ado o da sistemática supra citada. Concluiu-se que nesse caso especificamente, ficou evidenciado o acréscimo de arrecada o após a ado o do regime de substitui o tributária de ICMS, o que vai de encontro às justificativas para ado o da substitui o tributária. The ICMS – which is a tax on goods and services, is a key component of the prices charged by business and industry. The systematic collection of this tax by substitution has been increased in the State of S o Paulo, and aims to rise the efficiency of collection and facilitate the monitoring of that tribute. The present study aimed to identify, using multiple regression, the existence of influence in the collection of ICMS in a given section in the State of S o Paulo, due to the adoption by the systematic mentioned above. It was concluded that in this case specifically, it was evident the increase in collection of taxes after adopting the collection of ICMS by substitution, which meets the reasons for adoption of the tax substitution.
