Procuraremos mostrar que a renúncia ao estilo na escrita filosófi ca e a ado o do padr o analítico procedem das transforma es no conceito de competência, na substitui o da Universidade Cultural ou Humanista pela Universidade da Excelência ou do Conhecimento, manifestando-se, assim, a falência do ideário político e do papel filosófi co e existencial da cultura. This paper intends to illustrate that the style resignation on the philosophical writing and the adoption of the analytical pattern proceed from the transformations in the competence concept, replacing the Cultural or Humanist University by the Excellence or Information University, showing, hence, the failure of the political imaginary and the culture philosophical and existential role.
