IMPROVED EXPONENTIAL RATIO-TYPE ESTIMATORS IN SURVEY SAMPLING

In this paper some improved exponential ratio-type estimators have been proposed forestimating the finite populations mean using auxiliary information on two auxiliary variables indouble sampling. The properties of the proposed estimators have been analyzed for independentand dependent samples case under simple random sampling without replacement (SRSWOR). Anempirical study is carried out to demonstrate the performance of proposed estimators over Noorul-Amin and Hanif (2012), Singh et al. (2008), Singh and Vishvakarma (2007), and ClassicalRatio Estimator.
