Ventricular Stimulation After Myocardial InfarctionKeywords: myocardial infarction , ventricular stimulation Abstract: Ventricular stimulation after myocardial infarction (MI) is still recommended (class IB) in patients with syncope and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) more than 30-35%, in asymptomatic patients with a LVEF between 30-40% and with non sustained ventricular tachycardia (VT) patients at Holter monitoring. It can also identify patients at high risk of arrhythmic events in the early post-MI period. Combined with imaging methods PVS could be widely used again during VT ablation.
