Quasinatural Sites in Russian Legislation

Natural suites are specially protected by the Russian legislation. Along with the general law on environmental protection, there are special laws for each natural site (ground, water, subsoil, etc.). As regulations content shows, they cover not only natural sites, but artificial sites, as well. It is called a legal fiction and the notion “quasiobject” is used to determine artificial sites, having legal status of natural sites
