Medio ambiente, espacio y paisaje en el Nororeste Argentino: una mirada a través de la historia.

Since the end of the XIX century until the present, the use of concepts like environment, space and landscape has varied in our country. Some of these terms landscape, for example- had not even been considered until more recent times. Going through the archaeological literature of north-western Argentina we will see how these concepts are bond to different lines of thought, to the construction of classificatory categories, and to the elaboration and re-elaboration of ideas and notions such as that of complementarity. More than one century of researches allow us to understand how the current idea of past has been constructed, particularly across a retrospective analysis of the conception of space.
