La tecnología lítica desde las sociedades recolectoras a las sociedades formativas en el valle de Yocavil (Catamarca)

It is proposed to study the regional base of lythic resources and everyday experience in the manufacture and use of lythic technology that maintained formative societies of Valle de Yocavil (Catamarca), to the first millennium. For this purpose it is necessary expand knowledge on the first occupations of Valle del Yocavil, with special interest for quarry-workshop sites.To make this investigation be carry out, it will identify the primary and secondary sources of raw materials and will evaluate the existence of tertiary sources. Also it will investigate the system of lythic production from a formative site, comparing with superficial collections of quarry- workshop preceramic sites. Finally, samplings and prospections will be realised in the search of hunting sites - collectors, to later compare the experience of stature of their lítica technology with the manufactured one.
