Conservación de las bolsas de caraguatá. Materialidad descubierta en el Instituto de Arqueología y Mueso (IAM) de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán1.

This article aims to present the results of an analysis carried out caraguatá bags located at the Institute of Archaeology and Museum (IAM) of the National University of Tucumán (UNT). The selected materials are part of the ethnographic collections of the Institute and from different regions of the Argentinean Chaco. This analysis looked at from a conservation perspective, which in turn allowed us to develop and display other morphological features and ethnohistorical level. Cleaning and preventive measures taken for conservation and expansion of the data in the database of the institute, were just an excuse to get into the knowledge of a social practice that continues today and is full of meanings cultural.
