Odessa Scientists as the Passengers of The Philosophy Steamer

The article, basing on a wide range of document data and scientific literature, examines the expulsion of scientists from Odessa, which was part of the campaign on dissident intellectuals’ expulsion in 1922, memorized as “The Philosophy Steamer”. The determination of the degree of problem examination in the history showed that this theme wasn’t analyzed by Ukrainian and Russian historiography thoroughly. The previous publications contained only separate details of the campaign and the names of only few of the scientists were mentioned, which didn’t provide the full picture of the events. The article presents the previously unknown facts, introduces the forgotten names of the scientists and their fates for scientific use
