CIVIC ETHICS: INTEGRATING EXPERIENCEVerónica Gómez, Paulina RoyoABSTRACTThis text describes the experience of designing and teaching a civic ethics course under a competence-based model in a non-religious higher education institution, the University of Talca. Surveys applied to the course participants suggest that this approach allowed students to further develop their abilities in the field of civic values and apply theses abilities well beyond the classroom.
