Exploratory study about informal and non-formal learning in students and university graduates1Rosario Carrasco, Fabiola Jadue, Mario Letelier, Claudia Oliva2ABSTRACTThere seems to be consensus regarding the need of recognition of non-formal and informal learning, given its impact in the acquisition of knowledge and skills. The present study is aimed to provide an analysis of university students’ non-formal and informal learning. By using a mixed-method approach, it analyzed factors behind non-formal and informal learning as well as the use and contribution of this learning to achieve specific learning outcomes at a Chileanuniversity.
