Because the Lisbon Strategy emphasised entrepreneurship-basedcompetitiveness, especially the competitiveness of the SME sector, Euroregions, representing “naturalentrepreneurship” and a basis for SME development, carried out their “mission” in line with the LisbonStrategy.
