Hyperhidrosis is defined as secretion of sweat beyond what is necessary to maintain thermal regulation. It is illnes characterized by oversecretion of the eccrine sweat glands which cholinergic innervation cames from autonomic sympathetic trunk. It affects 1% of the European population. In this article we would like to present the case of 23-years old female who was admitted to the clinic due to profuse hyperhidrosis of hands and armpits. The patient was scheduled for newly introduced in Poland procedure - single port thoracic symphatectomy with videopleuroendoscope.
