Objective: To explore the effect of “The tonifying secret recipe of Taoists” on non-specific immune function in mice, to establish the foundation for its development and utilization. Methods: To assay the immunity function and cytokine of mice with MTT, hemolysis spectrophotometric method, improved Mayer method and ELISA method. Results: “The tonifying secret recipe of Taoists” improved activity of NK and the total complement activity in serum, while increasing content of IL 2 and reduced that of IL 8. Conclusion:
