Abstract:
？Theproductionofoctahydrocoumarin,whichcanserveasareplacementfortoxiccoumarin,wasinvestigatedusing5%Ruonactivecarbon(Ru/C)asthecatalystforthehydrogenationofcoumarin.Thehydrogenationwasstudiedbyoptimizingthereactionconditions(pressure,solventandcoumarinconcentration).TheactivityandselectivityoftheRu/Ccatalystwerecomparedfordifferentsolvents.Themechanismofcoumarinhydrogenationwasdeduced.Theformationofsideproductswasexplained.Theoptimalhydrogenationreactionconditionswere:130℃,10MPa,60wt%coumarininmethanol,and0.5wt%(basedoncoumarin)ofRu/Ccatalyst.Atthecompleteconversionofcoumarin,theselectivitytothedesiredproductwas90%.
