哲学上讲的“价值”是揭示特定属性的客体对于主体需要的意义关系的范畴，彰显的是客体是否满足主体需要的关系。习近平“共同价值”思想着眼人类普遍幸福，立足构建人类命运共同体，是反映全人类普遍意义的价值共识，充分表达了全人类共同的利益关切和价值追求。多样文化是全人类共同的资源和财富，以文化殖民为目的的西方“普世价值”破坏了不同文化间的交流与互鉴，而“共同价值”正是整合这些宝贵资源和财富的金钥匙。在当今全球化的大背景下，全世界从来没有像今天这样被紧密地联系在一起，努力寻求具有普遍“共同价值”的现实路径是人类通往美好未来的必经之路。
Philosophically, value is the category that reveals the meaning relationship of the particular object attributing to the subject, and highlights the relationship as to whether the object satisfies the needs of the subject. Xi Jinping's Thought on Common Values focuses on the universal happiness of mankind, based on building the community of human destiny, which is a value consensus reflecting the universal significance of all mankind, and fully expresses the common interests and value pursuits of all mankind. Diverse culture is the common resource and wealth of all mankind. Unlike Western Universal Values used for cultural colonization, they undermine the exchanges and mutual understanding between different cultures, Common Values is the golden key to integrating these precious resources and wealth. The world has never been close as today in the context of globalization, and striving for realistic paths of Common Values is the only way to lead mankind to a better future.
