Distortion in the Torah: A Research Based Analysis in the light of Qur’anic Arguments

Abstract:

Allah the most exalted, had granted Moses (Peace be upon him) the commandments of the Torah on the Mount Koh-e-Thoor.That book was a source of guidance for the people of that era. With this, the Torah has prominent status among the revealed books. The Holy Qur’an has declared the Torah as a source of guidance and fountain-head for the Jews, and it has pointed out that the Jews faced hardships because of not following the Torah. This was also their wickedness that they (the Jews) would change the verdicts of Allah, the most exalted, according to their own wishes. They did so with the Torah as well. The Holy Qur’an has named such a changed as distortion, meaning [Threef in Arabic] with the text for fulfilling owns own desire
