Lessons for Summary and Systematization in Teaching Geography in 5th Grade

Abstract:

The main criterion identifying the nature of the education process is related to the question of how the student forms his or her knowledge, skills and competencies. Other questions arise from this question - what type of activity the pupil achieves in the design of the educational process, what is the characteristic of the functional position of teaching - learning, how self the student is doing with the tasks assigned to him. Pedagogical and methodical literature is known to classify lessons by different criteria. Through lessons for summary develop the ability of students to summarize scientific facts. These lessons are motivted by information-cognitive purposes.The lessons for summary are distinguished from other types of lessons mainly from the significant range of learning content already learned, which is included for didactic and logical processing. In doing so, generalization, systematization and deepening of geographic This type of lessons are conducted after learning a particular course, section, or thematically related lessons. The aim is to achieve a generalized and systematized idea, knowledge of the most important, of the minimum information that is mandatory for the class.knowledge are achieved. Didactic models for a thematic summary were constructed as a result of the use of the findings for the purposes, essence, didactic procedures of the organization and their functional significance. The processes of individualisation and generalization of learning content with a focus on competencies is a challenge for learners, as the formation of an orientation basis for geographic summaries is a novelty for them. The structure of the lesson is determined to a large extent by the learning content and the degree of the pupils’ training
