The article explores some forms of address in modern Polish. The analysis is focused on forms of address used in formal communication, but not in professional contacts. The standard forms are prosz？ pana, pani and the expressions: panie, pani + first name. The author presents some forms of address that are not appropriate for this level of communication, but are used in colloquial Polish.
