Low-dose Prasugrel in Patients with Resistance to Clopidogrel for the Treatment of Cerebral Aneurysms: Follow-up of over 6 MonthsDOI: 10.5469/neuroint.2019.00052 Abstract: We recently reported the use of a lowdose of prasugrel for coil embolization of unruptured cerebral aneurysms [1]. Twenty-four patients showing resistance to clopidogrel using a P2Y12 reaction unit (PRU) test, were treated with a 20 mg loading dose of prasugrel followed by a 5 mg maintenance dose. No thromboembolic event or hemorrhagic complication was noted during the mean follow-up period of 1.5 months. Herein, we report the results of our observational cases during a more than 6-month follow-up regarding the use of prasugrel for a short-term period of administration
