PREFACE

The World Association of Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (WARMTH) held a 3-day event, International Symposium on Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (ISRT), 18-20 November 2018 in Helsinki, Finland. The objectives of the conference were to evaluate the current status of radiopharmaceutical therapy in the world in general, to exchange information on the current advances in the field between scientists from developed and developing countries; to interact with user groups (clinicians, oncologists, surgeons, radiopharmacists, medical physicists, etc.) and to bring them the most important information in the field, and to define future directions. The major emphasis of the conference involved the end-users and stake holders of radionuclide therapy, e.g., oncologists, endocrinologists, radiation oncologists, haematologists, physicians and surgeons. The Conference covered topics and discussed issues on all aspects of radiopharmaceutical therapy including a number of plenary lectures, papers, posters and panel discussions
