The Rationale Motive of Adult Christians’ Participation in Education Programs among Episcopal Churches in Southern California

The understanding of the motivational orientations of adults with complex reasons participating in learning activities is a base for church leaders and directors of Christian education to plan educational programs that meet their needs as adult learners. Knowing their motivation helps determine the curriculum, methods of teaching, and the available resources, leading to success in reaching the desired goals for the members and the church.
