Etymology of soparnik

Sa？etak The paper discusses the etymology of the folk dish named soparnik, typical for the Poljica region in Croatia. In spite of false etymologies encountered in the literature, the word is of Slavic origin and originates in older *suhoparnik, where the adjective suhoparan has the native and older meaning ‘unflavored’
