On jewellery from Golubi？ and female costumes from the eighth and the first half of the ninth century

Sa？etak This paper presents new information on certain artefacts from a grave discovered in 1932 on Stoli？eva njiva in Golubi？ near Knin. It also considers all related finds from prominent female graves of the same burial horizon, based on which I attempt to reconstruct the elite female costume from the eighth and the early ninth century in the area that would soon become the Croatian Principality and its adjacent sclavinia on the eastern coast of the Adriatic. I also aim to date respective female graves with more precision, based on stratigraphic indicators of systematically investigated graveyards
