The optical distribution network (ODN) is an important part of FTTH, which uses a variety of equipment, and the layout is complicated. The optical performance test of ODN optical link is the necessary means to ensure the normal operation of FTTH network. This paper discusses in detail the method of testing the key index of optical transmission of ODN optical link with some commonly used optical communication instruments, and prospects the development of future testing technology.
