The Relationship between Education Level and Wage Level of Employees in Industry and Service SectorKeywords: E?itim düzeyi,ücret,sanayi sekt?rü,hizmet sekt?rü Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of education and wage level of the employees working in the industrial and service sector registered in KOSGEB database in Afyonkarahisar province and its central districts. The research is a method of “mixed research” in which both quantitative and qualitative methods are used together. The study was carried out with 51 enterprises and 576 employees, 32 of which were micro-scale, 13 of which were small-scale, and six of them were medium-sized enterprises. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic average, percentage, frequency, standard deviation, multiple linear regression model were used. According to the results of the study, the level of education of the female employees in the service sector is higher than that of the male employees. The male and female employees with a high level of education find employment in the service sector and those with low levels of education find employment in the industry sector. It has been found out that graduation in the industry sector has an effect on the wage level of associate and undergraduate graduates in the service sector. Despite having the same level of education, female employees earn less monthly wages than male employees. While the most effective factor was the level of education on the monthly wage of the female employees, it was found that the level of education, age, sector of study, year of work and the variables of the work done on male employees were effective on the wage level
