Environmental Sensitivity, Approaches and Solutions in Winter Tourism Destinations: Sample of Paland？ken Hotels

It is estimated that global warming will cause the number of snowy days in winter tourism centers to decrease and the winter tourism to lose power. This case leads the hotels located in winter tourism centers to take more precautions. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the views of the managers of the hotels which serve for winter tourism about environmental changes, their environmentalist approaches and whether they regard the certificate of environment as a marketing strategy. For this purpose, qualitative data were collected from the managers of the hotels on Paland？ken through semi-structured interviews. It was tried to understand whether the Paland？ken destination is affected by the environmental changes and the levels of the environmental protection measures taken by the managers in the hotels they work for. The results of the study showed that the hotels managers think hotels cause environmental changes; they guess that beach hotels and hotels in city centers will be much more affected than winter tourism hotels; they agree that Paland？ken will also be influenced by this environmentally negative changes; and they take different measures about this problem
