Terrorism Growing with Globalization

This article is mainly about the concept of Terrorism and Terrorists, and it briefly tries to explain the emergence of terrorism from the past to the present. In the first part of the article terror perspectives and prevention efforts of some of the institutions in the international system such as the EU, the UN, the UNODC is evaluated and terrorism-related attitudes of some countries, like the USA, Turkey and Germany are clarified. In the second part of the article examples of global terrorism and the fight against terrorism in the international system are given. Within the article ethnic terrorism, religious terrorism, state terrorism, narco-terrorism, and cyberterrorism examples are provided. Apart from these examples, in the article, brief preliminary information about ASALA and PKK terrorist organizations which Turkey is combatting for many years is presented. The article also focuses on the example of growing terrorism as a result of globalization and how globalization and terrorism coincide. In the last part of the article, brief information about Proxy Wars and the Arab Spring is given, and the terrorist organizations that are under the control of superpowers in the Middle East are mentioned
