Spatial Appearances of Competing Historiographies in BulgariaKeywords: Rakip tarihyaz?mlar?,mekansal cisimle?me,Bulgaristan Abstract: In Bulgaria, everyday life is full of references to historical events. Historical events are constantly being reconstruct with various historiographies. After the memberships of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and European Union (EU), the country has become a scene of competing historiographies. In everyday life, this can be clearly seen in streets, parks, sculptures, memorial ceremonies, celebrations, etc. The study focuses on the rival historiographies and their concrete aspects on the space. Firstly, in Bulgaria for a long time more than a hundred years, the basic spaces and fields embodied by Russian historiography are given. Secondly, with the collapse of socialism, certain spatial appearances of the Euro-Atlantic historiography, which is beginning to open up more space in Bulgaria, are given. Thirdly, some spatial aspects of the historiography of the Turkish minority members, who may be embodied in small public spaces, are mentioned. Finally, it focuses on the possible future dimensions of the struggles that the historiographies give. The data source of the study consists of the primary area data obtained from experienced observations covering the last 10 years and the secondary data obtained as a result of close monitoring of the related agenda
