TURKEY'S MIDDLE EAST POLICY IN THE CONTEXT OF "KRG"

The purpose of this article, in the context of Turkey's Middle East policy, is to demonstrate the importance of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government. Especially In 2003 with the invasion of Iraq by United States of America, a great change happened. So, an unbalanced political situation emerged and the foreign powers got their impact on Iraq. Republic of Turkey is also one of the actors who want to be effective in Iraq due to the geographic location. Turkey tried to get its impact. By having a political, economic and trade relations, Iraq has become an important neighbour for Turkey .In 2005, by developing the relations between Turkey and Kurdistan region and the strategy that Turkey has made, Turkey has got a special position. ？n 2008, Kurds in Iraq were an effective factor to make Turkey's position strong or to become an effective power in Iraq. By developing bilateral relations between Kurdistan region and Turkey, we illustrate the impact of Kurdistan region on Turkey's position in Iraq. Meanwhile, Iraq was going to build political, social and economic system, Turkey opened an important door to become effective in Iraq. So we are going to show the factors that Kurdistan region has which are important for Turkey
