Investigation The Attitudes to The Disabled Persons of The Students of Department of The Exercise and Sports Education For Disabilities

The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitudes to the disabled persons of the students of department of the Exercise and Sports Education for disabilities. With this purpose, attitude scale questionnaires for disabled people that consist of 48 questions were applied to measure and evaluate the attitudes towards to disabled person to 102 students who study at the Department of Exercise and Sports Education for Disabilities at Inonu University School of Physical Education and Sports. In the analysis of the data, correlation analysis was used to identify the relationship between participants' attitudes towards disability and demographic variables, as well as descriptive statistics techniques. Kruskal Wallis-H and Mann Whitney-U tests which are nonparametric tests were used for the correlations. As a result, it has been observed that the attitudes of the students towards the disabled person were at a positive level and there was a weak correlation between participants' age and class level variables and their attitudes
