Analysis of Studies on Higher Education Based on Graduate Theses

The aim of this study is to analyze the postgraduate theses on the subject of higher education in a thematic and methodological perspectives. Qualitative research methods and techniques were used in the research. Within the scope of the research, have been examined postgraduate theses which are registered to Y？K National Thesis Center and were made about the higher education between 2000-2018. A thesis examination form developed by the researcher was used as data collection tool in the study. In the analysis of the data, content analysis and frequency analysis techniques were used. According to the results of the research, the number of master's theses in the field of higher education is higher than the number of doctoral dissertations. The thesis focuses on the structure and management of higher education. The most widely used methods in thesis are qualiitative research method, most used data collection tool questionnaire / scale, most used data analysis technique, quantitative analysis and most used sample type teaching staff and student
