Abstract Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a condition where multiple risk factors coexist, increase the risk of developing diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Almost one in four adultshave MetS worldwide. Although MetS is commonly seen, it is overlooked in the diagnosis.
