DEVELOPMENT OF A GSM AND GPS BASED VEHICLE TRACKING-ROUTING SYSTEM

The scope of this study is to develop a GSM-GPS and camera-based vehicle tracking-routing system. The system is developed as a GIS (Geographic Information System) based application and it takes photo by a camera that is placed inside the vehicle remotely. Another feature of the system is safely publishing and examining the vehicle data over a map hosting to a GIS software. The last and most crucial aspect of the system is the easy and quick monitoring of vehicles on the map website, which has been developed incorporating leading-edge technologies.
