Logistic Center Selection with Multi Criteria Decision Making Methods

Logistics can be defined briefly as the management of the flow of information and material in the processes from production plants / enterprises to end consumers. With technological advances and globalization, the logistics sector has become increasingly important. In logistics, the flow of material and information must be managed from the right place in order to be realized correctly. For this reason, "Logistics Center Location" is very important for the proper running of the flow. Several factors have to be taken into account in the selection of this location. Therefore, it is proper to use multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) methods to solve this problem. The aim of this study is to determine appropriate location for logistics center with a model consisting of two MCDM methods. In this study, Entropy method and MOOSRA method are used. The Entropy method was used to identify the weights of the selection criteria and the MOOSRA was used to rank the logistics center alternatives
