ASPECTS ON THE ECONOMIC AND ADMINISTRATIVE STATUS OF THE FOREST ROAD PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION IN TURKEYKeywords: Ormanc?l?k,Orman Yollar?,Planlama,?n?aat,Türkiye Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the economic and managerial status of the forest roads planning and construction work of the General Directorate of Forestry (OGM). In this context, the perspectives of five different stakeholder groups consisting of forest engineers, civil servants, workers, trainee forest engineering department students and other occupational groups in the Isparta Regional Directorate of Forests are presented. Survey technique was used as the data collection method in the study. The questionnaire was applied to 202 people. The likert scale of 5 was used in the questionnaire. SPSS 20 statistical package program was used for the evaluation of the obtained data and a statistical significance level of 0.05 was taken as the criterion. Because the data do not have normal distribution, non-parametric tests were evaluated by Kruskal Wallis test. Significant findings in the survey were that "the costs of forest roads made by OGM through outsourced tenders are more expensive". Moreover, the participants stated that "the cost of the forest roads that OGM made with their own facilities in the institution is more expensive". In the tender files prepared for the road construction, the excavation and filling quantities should be tendered at the unit price only according to the table prepared by discovery of land before the necessary project preparation; it cannot be determined that the contractor has earned little or no profit
