The Analysis of Studies on Educational Games in TurkeyKeywords: E?itsel oyun,Bilgisayar destekli e?itim,E?itsel bilgisayar oyunu,E?itsel oyun tasar?m?,Oyun yoluyla ??retim Abstract: The purpose of this research is to reach several generalized outcomes by examining descriptive and experimental researches on educational games in Turkey. To achieve this purpose; published articles about descriptive and experimental researches on the field, notices presented and published in scientific congresses and master and doctoral dissertations accessible with PDF format in National Dissertation Centre of Council of Higher Education (CHE) have been analyzed. Educational game about the result of the review conducted in Turkey has reached a total of 96 researches. Each research reached within the scope of the research was analyzed according to the dimensions included in the content analysis direction. The dimensions included in the content analysis direction are each researcher; Distribution according to publication type, distribution according to research method, distribution according to research sample, distribution according to subject area, distribution according to game type, distribution according to data collection tool, distribution according to research variables and distribution according to generalized findings. After researches are coded based on the specified criteria, categories’ frequency (f) and percentage (%) are calculated and charts are made for every aspect of the research. According to the generalized outcomes of the research; most of the previous researches are made within the graduate programs of education field, experimental methods are used for these researches and most of the samples are students in these researches. Also educational computer games genre is used in big part of these researches; especially there are more researches on the fields of information technologies, math and science. Tests, scales, questionnaires and interviews were used to collect the data. Most of the researches were conducted to determine the educational games’ impacts on academic success, permanence, level of achievement, level of learning and learner attitude and it can be said that these researches are significantly different than each other. Taking into consideration the generalized findings obtained from the interviews examined, proposals for the researches to be carried out in the coming periods are presented
