EXAMINATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, LIFE SATISFACTION AND JOB PERFORMANCE: AN IMPLEMENTATION ON ACADEMICIANS OF A？RI ？BRAH？M ？E？EN UNIVERSITY AND BAYBURT UNIVERSITY

Abstract The main purpose of this study is to examine relationships of emotional intelligence with job performance and life satisfaction. For this purpose, conceptual framework has been formed by searching local and foreign literature on variables of emotional intelligence, job performance and life satisfaction. In addition, brief information has been given about structural equation modeling which has been used in data analysis. A field study has been carried out on the academicians of Bayburt University and A？r？ ？brahim ？e？en University to research these relationships. The data obtained were analyzed by using SPSS and AMOS package programs and the research hypotheses have been tested. This study’s model; direct relationships among emotional intelligence, job performance and life satisfaction have been examined. Also, the mediation effect of life satisfaction in relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance has been examined.
