Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of excessive work overload on the turnover intention and the mediating role of job satisfaction and life satisfaction. The relationship between these variables was analyzed by statistical methods such as factor analysis, regression analysis and sobel tests. In the study, private hospitals operating in health sector in Mersin was searched. By questionnaire data was collected from 408 physicians, nurses and other health professionals. The relationships between the variables in the study were tried to be determined. As a result of the study, it was determined that the excessive workload increased the turnover intention and that job satisfaction and life satisfaction had a partial mediation role in this relationship
