In this study, the importance of Diyarbak？r Fortress armory given by Ottoman central administration between the years of 1740-1746, when the Ottoman-Iran war took place, will be emphasized and it will be tried to shed light on a section of the history of Diyarbak？r in the context of the events around this armory. In this period, the Ottoman administration sent a large amount of ammunition from Istanbul to Diyarbak？r. A serasker tak？m？ (army ammunition) was formed ？n addition to the ammunition existed in Diyarbak？r Fortress. The broken gunpowder barrels were repaired in order to protect the gunpowder sent with the ammunition. In this period, ammunition was sent to Mosul, which is one of the cities surrounded by Nadir Shah, from Diyarbak？r; then the reduced ammunition of Diyarbak？r Fortress was refilled with the ammunition sent from the Fortress of Aleppo
